Of course shipping delays can happen, but good communication reduces stress. I also check if the lenses have any blue light filter or anti-reflection coating. Bad lenses can cause eye strain, reflections and headache when you wear them for hours. The main things I look at for glasses are frame weight, hinge quality and lens coating. Sometimes I experiment with different materials just to see how they feel in daily life.
